Hello and welcome to your Writing Portfolio Activity!
In this first writing activity, we will write a
letter of complaint. Before we start, don’t forget to go to forum and
participate in the discussion about a problem you had with a service. Remember
the discussion we had in class about these types of letters.
Remember that this letter should/can include
the following:
*your problem and the result you want
*important dates. For example when you
purchased the goods or services and when the problem happened
*identify what you’ve already done to fix the
problem and what you will do if you the seller cannot resolve the problem
*ask for a answer within a reasonable time
*(Optional) attach a copy of any documentation like
a receipt or invoice.
Directions:
*Write
your letter.
*Use
connectors and conjunctions
*Use
periods and commas effectively
*Use
the appropriate formal and respectful language
*Don’
forget to comment on the portfolio of the classmates you are assigned.
